[REVIEW] Holika-Holika Magic Pole Mascara 2X in 03 Volume and Curl

Hi, mortals! What's up?

Today i'll be reviewing my new mascara that i bought in South Korea. It's Holika-Holika Magic Pole Mascara 2X in 03 Volume and Curl. Whew, what a long name. So typical korean make up products (lol). I bought it for 9900 KRW, i guess. I forgot (sorreeeeeee). I also googled about the price, and it's around 9900-10900 KRW.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Waterproof mascara with magical power. Volumises & curl your lashes. Easy removal with warm water. A specially designed magic pole brush makes lashes you never had.

I realised that there was an old packaging of this product. It was purple, not blue.

I think the new packaging is better. The colour and font, i mean. But they do still use the same design for the brush! (brush holder? whatever elelel).

And they also had the purple version of the new design! I got the blue one, as you can see down below. The box isn't like the other boxes btw, It's not cube or block, but it's triangular prism. (wow so math)

[How to use]

Step 1. Lift eyelashes up with magic stick.

Step 2. Spread eyelashes with magic ball.

Step 3. Reapply it for more dramatic look.

Now let's take a look at the product, yo.

So, at first, I tried to follow the how-to-use instruction. I want to see how it turns out.

so, this is how my lashes looks like. Not curled, and no mascara at all. Typical chinese eyelashes.

I applied as the instruction, the magic stick first as the first coat.

and this is the result after i applied the magic ball as the second layer/coat.

It looks kinda messy, and idk if it was my fault or the mascara. I tried to erase it and did it again, but it turned out almost the same. So i tried to do it "normally" on my other eye. (lashes?)

AND this is the result! I like this normal-method better hahaha. It looks so much better, and more volumised, and curled. But i actually layered my lashes once again with the magic ball only in this picture. Don't look at my eyebrows (lol). I'm too afraid to trim it........i don't want to make any mistake, so i'll just let it be like that for now.

Now you guys could actually see the difference clearly. Which one do you prefer? I personally prefer the left one, of course.

RESULT:

Pros

-Nice packaging

-I really like the result on my eyelashes

-Waterproof

-Easy to clean off (I prefer to use make up remover because it removes everything faster and effectively, even you could actually clean it with warm water.)

Cons

-Kinda hard to control the brush

-Not that affordable

re-purchase? yep. I really like it, actually. (huehuehue)
